This holiday season, Cicero District 99 didn't just celebrate Christmas and the holidays — we lived them.

From the moment the first lights twinkled on, our schools became places where generosity felt effortless, joy felt contagious, and hope felt alive.

🎅 Sherlock Elementary welcomed Mr. and Mrs. Claus, who cozied up with our students for storytime and even helped place a very special call to the North Pole — because when you're a kid, magic should always feel within reach.

☃️ Liberty Elementary transformed into a winter wonderland straight out of a storybook. The gym echoed with Christmas karaoke, families decorated cookies with care, and Santa Himself — along with one of his elves — made a stop to collect letters bound straight for the North Pole. Speaking of the North Pole... the media center became it. A magical space filled with wonder, warmth, and unforgettable holiday storytime moments.

🧸 At Cicero West, something truly special happened. Staff members came together, quietly and lovingly, to make sure every student received pajamas for their entire class. Then — because magic matters — Santa, his elves, and even reindeer delivered them straight to each classroom.

🎨 Wilson Elementary opened its doors for a beautiful family ornament-making night, where memories were created, laughter filled the room, and traditions were born.

🎄 And at Columbus West, families gathered for a joyful holiday celebration complete with smiles, music, and a surprise visit from the Grinches — proving that even a little mischief belongs in the magic of the season.

This is what the holidays are about. Community. Kindness. Moments that linger long after the decorations are put away.
